sIt helped me discover that I have emotional intelligence, and that some of my behaviors came from a feeling I couldn’t define.
Type 9
The human side, where we can talk about things we couldn't have talked about anywhere else.
Type 6
It brought me a sense of calm.
Type 1
I’ve done a lot of bad things is my short life before prison. I’ve always been told I am a monster. But now I know that I can mend that girl and change my heart.
Type 8
This program solidified hope for my future and connections so I don’t fall back inside.
Type 6
This has been eye opening and a release from a box I put myself in. Now I have the key.
Type 3
This group helped me learn more about myself and heal from past trauma, more than the 10 years of therapy on the outside. It is mind blowing. I would recommend to anyone.
Type 2
This is the first time in my life I have felt seen.
Type 6
This is the first class I've ever taken where the instructors/guides were just as involved with the class as the students, and the way the material was presented, it was as if we were all learning it together. It was easy to be truthful about situations because the guides were always positive and non-judgemental, which made it easier to open up and share. I don't think I've ever been this honest about myself in any kind of setting.
Type 2
Thank you for showing me new ways to observe and learn about myself. Plus letting myself be open to connect with people.
Type 5
I learned that I don't always have to be afraid to open up. I can speak up for myself and have the courage to do that for others around me.
Type 6
I’ve spent over 20 years incarcerated and have taken every class they have to offer. This has by far been the best class I’ve ever taken and I know will help me in here and when I get out.
Type 8
